IMMORTAL DESIGN ABSTRACT
In the age of revolutionary design and fast growing international markets, our concept focuses on the preservation of what can be argued as the “godfather” of today’s global design Industry; ITALIAN DESIGN.
Thus is born the concept of “a tin can of Salmon,” the functions and properties of this can; preservation, conservation and long duration of its contents are coherently reflected in the set up and layout of our design for La Triennale di Milano.
Today when the fear of forgetting the iconic masterminds and unique pieces of Italian design is rife, we feel a concept revolving around the “preservation” and “immortalization” of Italian Design whereby this notion is embedded upon the visitor is very apt and concurrent. Our design elements allow the visitor to “take home” and conserve forever the icons that have given Italy and especially Milan the title of “the design capital of the World.”

In un'epoca di design rivoluzionario, il nostro concetto si sviluppa nella conservazione del oggetto esposto, un oggetto inserito del contesto mondiale come il “goodfather” della industria del design. IL DISEGNO ITALIANO.
Così è nato il concetto di "la lattina", le funzioni e le proprietà di questa è la conservazione del oggetto esposto, la preservazione e la lunga durata del suo contenuto. Questo è il concetto principale per il “project set up” della Triennale di Milano.
Finalmente, quando abbiamo perso la paura di dimenticare le pezzi unici del design italiano, abbiamo creato un concetto che ruota intorno alla "conservazione" e "immortalizazione" del design italiano. I nostri elementi di progettazione permettono al visitatore di "portare a casa" e di conservare per sempre le icone che hanno dato all'Italia e a Milano il titolo di "capitale del design del mondo".
